August 30th 2009 Premium Baby Crib Sets Don’t Come With Pillows
Pillows aren’t necessary for infants and most of them will wiggle off of a pillow if you choose to put them on one. An infant’s typical resting position is normally on his or her back with the head sideways. While a parent may think of a pillow as a comfort, for the baby, having a pillow in the crib is not comfort, but danger, as babies do not have the ability to move a pillow that might be obstructing their ability to breathe. As a result you won’t find a pillow in any quality crib set you bring home, and this includes Max baby bedding.
No stuffed animals should be kept in the crib or on the bed with the child as they present a bigger problem than fluffy blankets or pillows. Children enjoy hugging stuffed animals, although if the animal becomes a problem, the child may not be able to push it away.
